Our Barn Animal Practice puppy parties are run by Toni Mehta one of our qualified veterinary nurses. They are the perfect introduction to socialization for any puppy and create a lasting bond between your puppy and the practice. This makes future vet visits a positive experience.
Puppies can attend one week after their first vaccination and can be no more than 14 weeks old on registration. The course is 4 weeks long and runs on a rolling module basis meaning that you can join at any point in the course and not miss any vital information.
Topics covered include:
- Parasite control
- Socialisation and play
- Diet
- Puppy behaviours: biting and house training among others
- Topical concerns such as Alabama Rot and Lungworm
- Common toxins
- Diet
