Matt joined the barn in March 2025, after starting his veterinary career in 2017, he has worked as a receptionist, a veterinary care assistant and even an animal ambulance driver! He later qualified as an RVN whilst working in a small animal practice in Bristol in August 2024.

Day to day, Matt enjoys nurse consults and anaesthetics but has a particularly keen interest in exotics and wildlife.

Matt has a great love of the countryside which reminds him of growing up back in Norfolk. At home, Matt has a very cute but extremely mischievous ferret called Helga!
