Our Staff

	Alan Krasno BVetMed MRCVS Alan started the Veterinary Surgery originally in The Street Old Basing with his wife Shelagh in 1982. Alan graduated from The Royal veterinary college London University in 1980. The practice has grown and now is in new premises at The Barn. Alan lives near Old Basing and has a GSD, Dylan a rescued cat Ziggy and a number of pedigree old breed Hens. Alans interests are in Small Animal Surgery and Veterinary History..
	Mr Shawn Holm BVMS MRCVS Shawn has recently joined the staff of The Barn. Shawn is a graduate of Edinburgh University Veterinary School and has been in veterinary practice for 5 years. Shawn is married to a vet. He expects to start studying fpor a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery shortly.
	Maria Jones MA VetMB MRCVS Maria qualified with Claire from Cambridge University in 1994. She is especially interested in all Feline Medical matters and Veterinary Acupuncture She keeps two cats Toby and Cariad and an overactive German Short Haired Pointer
	Charlotte Clough BVetMed Cert SAD MRCVS Charlotte lives in Rotherwick and keeps a herd of Pedigree Dexter cattle. Charlotte qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in London. She holds a Certificate in Small Animal Dermatology and in addition to general veterinary work does conduct Second Opinion work for local veterinary practices in Skin Disease.
Shelagh Shelagh started the surgery with Alan in 1982 and still keeps a watchful eye on all matters that keep the Hospital running smoothly. The hand painted tiles are her own handy work! Shelagh enjoys riding her Irish Hunter 'Whisper'.
